How to rent
Renting a car with Rent a Car Sword is simple, fast, and secure.
Follow these easy steps to reserve your vehicle and enjoy your time in Montenegro with complete peace of mind.
1. Choose Your Vehicle Category
Select the category that best suits your travel needs.
Each listing includes:
- Daily rental price
- Vehicle features (fuel type, transmission, capacity)
- Required deposit amount
Note: - You are reserving a vehicle category, not a specific vehicle.
- We will assign you a car from the selected category based on availability at the time of pickup.
- All vehicles are regularly maintained, clean, and in excellent condition.
2. Select Pickup and Return Details
- Choose your pickup and return locations
- Select dates and times
- If needed, choose different return location
We offer flexible pickup and return options throughout Bar and surrounding areas.
3. Add Extras (Optional)
You can customize your rental by adding extras such as:
- Child seats
- GPS
- Additional driver
- Full insurance
These options are available during the booking process and clearly priced.
4. Enter Your Information
Fill in your:
- Name and surname
- Date of birth
- Contact number and email
- Driving license information if asked
You must be at least 18 years old with a valid license held for minimum 2 years.
5. Secure Payment
- Pay 30% of the total rental price + full deposit securely online via Monri WSPay
- The remaining amount is payable in cash or card upon vehicle pickup
We use a secure, PCI DSS-certified payment gateway. Your data is protected.
6. Confirmation
Once your booking is submitted:
- You will receive an email confirmation
- Our team will contact you to finalize the details
- You’ll receive a payment link within 24 hours if you haven’t paid during booking
7. Vehicle Pickup
At your selected pickup time and location:
- Present your ID/passport and valid driver’s license
- Sign the rental agreement
- Pay any remaining balance (if applicable)
We’ll inspect the vehicle with you and hand over the keys.
8. Return the Vehicle
Return the car to the agreed location.
After inspection, your deposit will be refunded if the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
